BIAD Expert Duan Huanan Was Invited to Attend the 7th Beijing- Taiwan Construction Technology I

On December 28,2021,the 7th Beijing-Taiwan Construction Technology Innovation and Development Forum with great attention from all walks of life was held in Beijing. Affected by COVID-19,this forum set up two venues in Beijing and Taipei.Nearly a hundred construction  industry  experts  from  both  sides  of the Taiwan Strait participated in this forum in the form of video conference.Industry  expert   Duan   Huanan,Director of Health Design in the Fifth Design Institute of Beijing Institute  of  Architectural   Design  Co.,Ltd.(BIAD)was

invited to attend the forum,and delivered a keynote speech at the conference titled "Al Helps Digital and Intelligent  Innovation  in  the  Construction  Industry".

At the very beginning of the conference,Duan Huanan, Director of Health Design in the Fifth Design Institute of Beijing Institute of Architectural Design Co.,Ltd.(BIAD) first delivered a keynote speech,in which he deeply discussed the possibility and future development direction of Al in the construction industry,and how to better enable industry value creation and productivity

Alliance;LI Jianhui,Deputy Chief Engineer of Beijing Shougang Construction Group Co.,Ltd.;LI Hongyuan,Professor of Department of Civil  Engineering,National Taiwan University delivered keynote speeches one after another.

After  the  conference,important  guest  of  this   forum,Duan Huanan,accepted an interview with a reporter.He said,"As a science,architecture not only involves science and   technology  such  as  structure,electromechanical,energy transportation,information,ecology,environment,and geography;As an art,architecture also covers economic, social,psychological,history,law,art,culture,aesthetics, philosophy,management and many other humanities and social science theories and disciplines.

"The innovative development of building technology plays an important role in promoting the overall development of the  construction  industry,improving  the  efficiency  of

building  design,reducing  construction  costs,and improving  building quality."Duan  Huanan graduated from College of Architecture and Civil Engineering,Bejing

University of Technology.Since joining the industry,Duan Huanan has participated in and presided over architectural works throughout the country as the principal or chief designer.For example,many of his key construction projects including Tongjing International City in Chongqing, Xiang city canyon,Folding Garden in Beijing,etc.,have all become masterpieces of the times.In the constant pursuit  of knowledge and practice,Duan Huanan also has a deeper understanding of the subject of architecture,and has an advance understanding of the future development trend of the industry.

In recent years,through years of diligent research,Duan Huanan has developed many high-tech achievements including Architectural  Project  Investment  Decision Support System Based on Data Mining V1.0,Architectural Design Expert System Based on Artificial Intelligence V1.0, etc.,which not only greatly improved the efficiency and quality of construction work,and met the needs of the rapid development of the construction industry,but also major event in the domestic construction industry,has received much attention from the society since its

inception.As the seventh forum,this forum continues the high-end tradition of previous events.With the theme of "Cooperating to Promote New Development,Working

Together to Build a New Pattern",it aims to promote the development of the construction industry of the two places through the exchanges of the construction industry;with construction as the hub,to lead the two sides into the Winter Olympics;with construction as the bridge,to jointly build a new pattern.At the end of the interview,Duan Huanan said that it is his honor to be
